PlayStation Unveils 2025 Black Friday Sale: Big Discounts on PS5, Games, PS Plus
PlayStation has set its official Black Friday 2025 sale for November 21 to 29. The company is dropping prices on a range of hardware and games. PS5 consoles, including the PS5 Pro, are $100 off. Games like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Lost Soul Aside, Astro Bot, and God of War Ragnarok are discounted, with savings up to 60%.
DualSense controllers will be marked down: $54.99 for the standard colors, $59.99 for special editions. There’s also $100 off PlayStation VR2, $20 off the PlayStation Portal, $30 off the DualSense Edge, $20 off standard DualSense controllers, $20 off the Pulse Elite headset, and $30 off Pulse Explore earbuds.
PlayStation Plus memberships are 33% off for 12 months. Both new and current subscribers can take advantage of the discount when upgrading their memberships.
Some early deals are already live. Borderlands 4 is $47.99, Final Fantasy's 1-6 Pixel Collection is $39.99, EA Sports FC 26 is $34.99, Battlefield 6 drops to $62.95, and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is $34.99. GameStop is listing Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at $44.99 on November 24.
Most deals will be available through PlayStation Direct as well as big retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. There’s speculation Amazon might roll out deeper discounts after some early flash sales.
The Black Friday sale also includes special bundles. The new PS5 Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle is priced at $399.99 for the digital version and $449.99 for the disc edition. It comes with exclusive in-game content and 1,000 V-Bucks.
Compared to last year, PlayStation’s 33% off for PS Plus is a slight improvement. While not as strong as the Lunar New Year sale, it matches or tops the recent Days of Play Sale. The article flags that while the $100 off cancels out the August 2025 price hike for the PS5, it still stands out as one of the year’s more notable deals. Trend On Tech.
